The blanking flange cover is solid in the middle, serving as a sealing function for the pipeline. The difference between a blanking flange and a cap is that the blanking flange is a removable seal, whereas the cap is a non-removable seal that is welded directly onto the pipeline.

The flange cover can withstand a higher pressure rating than the blanking plug, and it is also removable, offering a variety of sealing surfaces.

Production Process

Generally, there are four types: forging, casting-forging, medium plate cutting, and casting. Among them, forging products are priced higher, followed by medium plate, then casting-forging, and casting is the least preferred in terms of craftsmanship. In terms of quality, forging and medium plate are superior, with casting-forging being slightly inferior.
