The cooling tower utilizes water as a circulating coolant to absorb heat from one system and release it into the atmosphere, thereby reducing the water temperature.

The cooling is achieved through the heat exchange that occurs when water and air flow come into contact, producing steam. The steam then evaporates, carrying away heat to achieve evaporative and convective heat transfer.

A heat dissipation device that utilizes principles of radiation and heat transfer to dissipate excess heat generated in industrial or refrigeration/air conditioning applications, thereby reducing water temperature by evaporative cooling to ensure the normal operation of the system.

Operation, the unit is generally in a drum shape, hence named a cooling tower.
