They are also used for anti-seepage lining in subway systems, basements, and tunnels, as well as for preventing seepage in highway and railway foundations. Additionally, they are used in conjunction with geotextiles like long-fiber geotextiles and bentonite waterproof membranes in sanitary landfill applications.
