Product Introduction
Polyacrylonitrile fiber has properties very similar to wool, with good elasticity. It retains a rebound rate of 65% after stretching by 20%, is fluffy, curly, and soft, and has better thermal insulation, 15% higher than wool, earning it the nickname "synthetic wool." Its strength ranges from 22.1 to 48.5 cN/tex, up to 1 to 2.5 times higher than wool. It has excellent resistance to sunlight, with strength only dropping by 20% after a year of outdoor exposure, making it suitable for curtains, drapes, tents, and canvases. It is resistant to acids, oxidizers, and most organic solvents, but has poor resistance to alkalis. The softening temperature of the fiber is between 190°C and 230°C.
