Steel Mill Implements Tri-composite Ceramic Rubber Lining to Combat Material Wear

In steel mills, buckets and chutes often require inspection and maintenance due to the continuous friction and impact of materials during the discharge process, which leads to severe wear inside the equipment. Standard wear-resistant steel plates are unable to truly address the wear issue; high-wear-resistant materials that can withstand both wear and impact are needed.

The three-in-one ceramic rubber lining can address the wear and impact conditions in steel mills. The three-in-one ceramic rubber lining is produced through a rubber injection and hot curing process, fusing wear-resistant ceramic, rubber, and steel plate into a single unit. The steel plate features bolts on its back, allowing for easy installation by securing the bolts to the equipment. The wear-resistant ceramic offers high wear resistance, with a hardness second only to diamond, and its wear resistance is equivalent to 266 times that of manganese steel and 170 times that of high-chromium cast iron. Additionally, with the rubber's characteristic toughness, it can mitigate the impact force of materials and also achieve noise reduction.
