The pneumatic ash conveying pipeline in power plants is a highly wear-prone equipment. Once the pipeline is worn through, it leads to ash leakage, which not only affects the enterprise's safe production but also causes environmental pollution, posing a significant headache. Replacing or repairing the pipeline is also quite troublesome, and even with frequent repairs, it doesn't last long.

To address issues at their root, it is recommended to opt for wear-resistant piping such as ceramic composite pipes or dual-metal composite pipes. Ceramic composite pipes involve lining steel pipes with alumina ceramic, which boasts excellent wear resistance, effectively protecting the steel pipe from abrasion. Moreover, these pipes can withstand corrosive materials, with the wear-resistant ceramic capable of withstanding temperatures up to 650°C, making them highly suitable for pneumatic ash conveying systems. Some also choose dual-metal composite pipes, though these are heavier and more expensive, making them less suitable for applications with frequent wear.

Selecting wear-resistant ceramic pipes based on the operating conditions, and properly designing the inner diameter of the pipes and the size of the ceramic, can significantly enhance the service life of the pipes and effectively address the issue of pipe wear.
