CGM High-Strength Non-Shrink Grouting Material

Grouting construction

Step 1: Basic Processing

The base surface should be roughened. Clean the base surface thoroughly, ensuring there are no debris, loose mortar, floating dust, oil stains, or release agents. Prior to grouting.24 hours, the base surface should be sufficiently moistened. One hour before grouting, clear away any standing water.

Two: Support & Touch

1. Set up molds according to the grouting construction drawing. Seal the joints between the molds and the foundation, as well as between molds, using cement slurry and tape, ensuring the overall mold is watertight.

2. The horizontal distance from the template to the base of the equipment should be maintained at about 100mm for ease of grouting work.

3. The template top elevation should be 50mm higher than the surface of the equipment base.

4. In case of leakage during grouting, it should be addressed promptly.

Step 3: Grout Material Preparation

Generally, add water to mix according to a standard of 13-14% for general reinforced type, and 9-10% for stone aggregate reinforced type.

2. Mix using mechanical stirrer; typically, stirring should last for 1-2 minutes (electric drill stirrers are strictly prohibited). When stirring manually, first mix for 2 minutes with 2/3 of the water, then add the remaining water and stir until uniform.

3. The mixing quantity should be determined based on the usage amount to ensure the material is used up within 40 minutes.

4. When in use on-site, it is strictly prohibited to add any admixtures or external additives to the CGM grouting material.

Step 4: Grouting Construction Method

1. For longer equipment or track foundations, segmented construction should be adopted.

2. Illustrations of Common Grouting Methods

3. During the secondary grouting, the following requirements should be met.

1.1 During the secondary grouting, it should be carried out from multiple points on one side or adjacent sides until it overflows from the opposite side, to facilitate air release during the grouting process. Grouting from all four sides simultaneously is not permitted.

1.2 Once grouting begins, it must be conducted continuously without interruption, and the grouting time should be minimized as much as possible.

1.3 No vibration is allowed during the grouting process. If necessary, use a grouting booster to push the cgm grouting material along the bottom of the grouting layer. It is strictly prohibited to push from the middle or upper part of the grouting layer to ensure the homogeneity of the grouting layer.

After the equipment foundation grouting is completed, a 45-degree bevel should be cut outward along the equipment edge 3-6 hours post-grouting (refer to the image below) to prevent cracks at the ends. If edge cutting is not possible, the surface of the grouting layer should be smoothed with a trowel 3-6 hours after grouting.

When the thickness of the grouting layer exceeds 150mm, use reinforced stone aggregate high-strength, non-shrink grout.

1.6 When the base grouting volume of the equipment is large, mechanical mixing should be used for the aggregate reinforced grouting material to ensure the grouting construction.

Step 5: Maintenance

1. Within 30 minutes after grouting is complete, immediately cover with a wet straw blanket or rock wool blanket, and maintain moisture.

2. During winter construction, maintenance measures should also comply with the relevant provisions of the current >GB50204.

3. After the grouting material reaches the demolding time, equipment installation can be carried out. Refer to the "Demolding and Curing Time and Environmental Temperature Relationship Table" for specific timing.

4. After the equipment foundation grouting is completed, if any part needs to be removed, it can be gently scraped off with a trowel or shovel tool within 3-6 hours after grouting, before the grout layer hardens.

5. Do not transmit vibration from operating machinery to the equipment foundation. The machine should be shut down for 24-36 hours after secondary grouting to prevent damage to the unhardened grouting layer.

Packing and Storage

Packaging specification: 50kg/bag, store in a well-ventilated and dry place, and prevent direct sunlight.
