Polypropylene mortar

 Product Features

 


High polymer emulsion composed of imported modified epoxy resin latex, domestic chloroprene rubber emulsion, polyacrylate, synthetic rubber, various emulsifiers, and modified latex. A high molecular waterproof and anticorrosive material formed by adding base materials, appropriate chemical auxiliaries, and fillers, followed by plasticization, blending, and calendering processes. A superior product produced in accordance with national industry standards and recommended for national well-being residential construction, using imported materials and high-quality domestic auxiliary materials. Long lifespan, easy to install, and can last over 50 years when submerged in water for a long period.
Polypropylene mortar has excellent weather resistance, durability, impermeability, compactness, and extremely high adhesion, as well as extremely strong waterproof and anticorrosion effects. It can withstand the corrosion from pure alkali production media, urea, ammonium nitrate, seawater, hydrochloric acid, and alkaline salts. It can be mixed with sand, ordinary cement, and special cement to form cement mortar, which is then cast or sprayed, or manually applied to create a robust waterproof and anticorrosive layer on concrete and surfaces. It is a rigid and flexible waterproofing and anticorrosion material. Mixing it with cement and sand can modify the mortar, making it suitable for treating building walls and floors, as well as for waterproofing layers in underground projects.

  Application Scope
1. Waterproofing, anti-corrosion, anti-seepage, moisture-proof, and leakage repair projects for interior and exterior walls of industrial and residential buildings, exterior walls, concrete, basements, swimming pools, water towers, non-standard rooftops, tunnels, bathrooms, and dams.
2. Civil air defense, underground engineering, and hydraulic and electrical engineering: waterproofing, corrosion prevention, bonding reinforcement, and strengthening treatments, as well as waterproofing and corrosion-resistant linings.
3. Basement interior and exterior walls, toilet and bathroom areas, dam impermeable panels, canals, aqueducts, bridge surfaces, ground-level swimming pools, delivery ponds, chemical-resistant and acid/alkaline-resistant storage facilities.
4. Also suitable for waterproofing and anti-seepage protection in concrete reservoirs. Additionally, in alkali plant crystallization and mother liquor tanks, as well as the inner walls of distillation towers, the product offers excellent anti-corrosion and waterproofing effects.
  

  Product Features


Can be applied on damp surfaces, where conventional solvent-based waterproofing and anticorrosion materials often fail. The application can be done using the mixed concrete method, which increases the adhesion between the coating and concrete due to the impact force exerted by the object on the base surface, resulting in excellent waterproofing properties. The bond strength is 3 to 4 times higher than that of ordinary cement mortar, and the flexural strength is more than 3 times higher, making the mortar better in crack resistance. It can be used for waterproofing, anticorrosion, and moisture-proofing on the face, back, sloping, and irregular surfaces. It has strong adhesion, does not produce hollowing, crack propagation, or water leakage.
Cationic chloroprene latex can be used for waterproofing, corrosion prevention, and leak sealing and repair. It can be completed in one day without a leveling or protective layer, resulting in a short construction period and low overall cost. It can be applied on both wet and dry substrates, but the subgrade must be free of flowing water or standing water. The corrosion-resistant mortar has excellent mechanical properties, is resistant to sunlight, ozone, and atmospheric aging, and is durable against oil, acid, alkali, and other chemical substances. It is heat-resistant, does not propagate flames, self-extinguishes, resists deformation and vibration, is wear-resistant, and has good airtightness and water resistance. It has a high total cohesive force. It is non-toxic and harmless, suitable for construction in drinking water pools, ensuring safe and simple installation.
  

  Construction Method

 Basic Treatment:
 
1. The surface of the base material should be clean, dust-free, oil-free, and free of any residues from chemical corrosive mediums. The surface of porous materials should be pre-wetted with water, and the surface of the steel base material should be free of rust.
2. Any leakage areas must first be treated with a quick-sealing agent, maintaining the base surface moist until there is no standing water, to achieve optimal construction results.
 
Ingredients:
Mix thoroughly using a ratio of 7 parts gray material to 1 part emulsion.
 
Construction:
 
1. Apply the prepared clay mixture to the repaired area using a spatula. Press and smooth as you apply. The area can be used after 3 to 14 days. Construction temperature should be above 5°C and avoid working during rain or freezing conditions.
 
2. Mechanical stirring or manual mixing is available. The prepared paste should be used within 2-3 hours.
 
Construction and Maintenance:
 
1. When using anti-corrosion mortar as the overall facing layer, the thickness should not be less than 5mm. When the construction area is large in one go, leave construction joints or staggered sections. Each section should not exceed 10-15㎡, depending on the site conditions. The time interval for filling gaps or staggering sections should be at least 24 hours.
2. When applying a monolithic facing to the facades of concrete or masonry structures or to the surfaces of steel structures, the application should be done in two stages, with each stage separated by no less than 24 hours. During the second application, the surface should be leveled in one go without repeated pressing.
 

  Cautionary Notes
 
1
This product should be installed in an environment with a temperature of 10-30°C, not below 5°C. The raw materials must not be damp, exposed to rain, sunlight, or contaminated by debris.
2. This product is not suitable for installation during rainy or freezing weather. If installation is necessary during winter, appropriate frost protection measures should be taken. The product should be mixed and used immediately; it is not recommended to mix a large quantity at once, and the mixed material should be used within 2-3 hours.
 

  Packing and Storage
