The relative density is between 1.5~2.0, only 1/4~1/5 of carbon steel, yet the tensile strength is close to, and even exceeds, carbon steel, with a specific strength comparable to alloy steel. Therefore, it is effective in applications requiring weight reduction, such as in aviation, rocketry, spacecraft, high-pressure vessels, and other products where self-weight reduction is necessary. Some epoxy FRP can achieve tensile, bending, and compressive strengths above 400MPa. FRP is an excellent corrosion-resistant material, offering good resistance to atmospheric conditions, water, and general concentrations of acids, bases, salts, as well as various oils and solvents. It has been applied in all aspects of chemical corrosion prevention and is replacing carbon steel, stainless steel, wood, non-ferrous metals, and others.

Installation Method:

Inspect that the valves and pipeline protection meet the installation requirements.

2. Inspect the exterior of the protective case for any damage.

3. Measure the interface dimensions and sketch the outline on the protective casing.

4. Cut along the contour line, then open the protective cover to trim any defects.

5. Secure the protective cover onto the valve to be protected, tighten the bolts, and complete the installation.
