III. Faults and Repairs of Dual-Use Screw-Type Lantern Latch Mechanism 1. Top gate accidents of the two-in-one screw jack caused by non-human factors During operation, floating debris such as trees or obstacles like stones can be swept to the bottom of the gate or jammed in the gate channel by the high-speed water flow. However, the limit indicator or limit switch on the screw lifting machine has not reached its position, and it does not act as a limit stop or alert the operator to stop. Therefore, the operator will not stop the machine, and the lifting machine will continue to lower the gate. When the counterforce exceeds the bearing capacity of the lifting machine or the lifting platform, a gate jamming accident will inevitably occur. During use, special attention should be paid to the gate jamming accidents of the screw lifting machine. If such an accident occurs, it should be addressed promptly to prevent more severe incidents. 2. Human-induced overhead gate accidents Operators are careless, not checking the gate opening and closing procedures before operating, or the original operator is on leave, and the substitute is盲目 operating without familiarity with the procedures and methods. This can lead to reversing the opening and closing directions, such as opening the gate when it's in the closed position, pressing the wrong button for electric operation, or turning the wrong direction manually, mistaking the closing direction for opening. Some cases involve operators not being focused during the closing process, failing to stop immediately when the gate reaches the lower limit position. Others include the limit nut or limit marker on the screw rod shifting, failing to act as a limit. Electric gate operators may also encounter power supply department changes in phase sequence during electrical equipment or power line maintenance, causing the motor on the operator to change direction, potentially altering the opening and closing direction. If the gate is opened when it's in the closed position during this change, a collision accident is likely to occur. Four: Causes of screw bending in the dual-purpose flashlight screw jack: Gate opening indicator inaccurate or limit switch malfunction, causing the gate to continue closing downwards after fully closed; incorrect operation of the power unit, causing a fully closed gate to continue closing; sudden jamming of the gate or obstruction by a stone or other obstacle on the bottom sill during closing; exceeding the allowable pressure of the screw due to violation of operating procedures; the length-to-diameter ratio of the screw and connecting rod of the hand-held and double-screw lifting machine exceeds the allowable maximum or the guide arrangement spacing is too large; the installed screw and connecting rod errors are too large, causing jamming during closing. Repair methods: methods such as applying weights, levers, jacks, straighteners, presses, and heating can be used for correction. After correction, the non-perpendicularity should be controlled as follows: not more than 0.15mm per 0.5m length, and not more than 0.7mm when the total length is not greater than 5m; when the total length is 510m, not more than 1mm. If the above standards are exceeded, further correction is required. To prevent recurrence of bending, after the screw has been straightened, the cause of the bending should be addressed.
