Smart Streetlight Series

Intelligent streetlights will be based on road lighting poles, integrating public security, traffic signals, communication, and traffic signs into one, achieving the integration of multiple poles, reducing road poles, and releasing public space resources. At the same time, as an important carrier for the construction of smart cities, intelligent streetlights will serve as gateways for the Internet of Things, playing a greater "composite" role. As a dense and evenly distributed information infrastructure in the city, streetlight poles are considered an optimal carrier for outdoor coverage of 5G base stations. Driven by the development of smart cities and 5G base station construction, they will gradually transform from a single lighting function to a new type of public infrastructure.

It is understood that during the construction of intelligent streetlights along Zhongyuan Road in Xiangyang City, emphasis was placed on combining multiple poles into one, implementing intensive settings for various pole facilities, achieving co-construction, sharing, and interconnectivity. The intelligent pole in the North Street features single-side lighting and an ancient style design, highlighting the historical and cultural characteristics of the ancient city. It also includes additional applications such as charging stations, 5G base stations, public WiFi, surveillance cameras, and LED displays.
