How to Arrange and Use Office Furniture

Office furniture should always be placed in a prominent location. In use, attention should be given to the indoor temperature and humidity, prevent direct sunlight exposure, avoid cleaning with damp cloths, and perform regular maintenance.

Focusing on the big picture, details often overlooked can lead to furniture deformation and damage. When arranging office furniture, be sure to align it front to back and side to side. The leg pads should be as level as possible with the ground, meaning the furniture should stand on its own weight, especially for large cabinet furniture. If left unevenly positioned for extended periods, it may deform or crack.

When moving office furniture, it must be moved parallel to prevent uneven distribution of force. It is prohibited to pull only one leg or push only one side. That's all there is to it; the leg structure is loose and slanted.

In the application of flat office furniture, do not cover the glass top over the large desk surface. The glass top will close the desk, preventing the exposed side from contacting outside air. This uneven contraction on both sides of the desk can lead to warping and even mold. Particularly, heavy glass tops can exert additional pressure on the desk surface.

If glass tables are required for office furniture maintenance, it's recommended to use small suction cups as spacers. Place a pad under hot items and containers holding liquids to prevent stains and discoloration on the surface. In case of occasional occurrences, gently scrape off the residue at a 45-degree angle using a flat metal or glass blade, then sand and wax the surface with fine sandpaper.
