Noise Abatement Process

1. Research Study

Each factory has its unique noise issues, so careful planning is essential in noise management. Prior to intervention, an on-site investigation of the noise pollution source is necessary, focusing on identifying the main noise sources and their causes, as well as testing for noise levels exceeding standards and the pathways of noise propagation. Based on the findings, a noise distribution map is created, depicting the different isophonic curves on maps of the factory and residential areas.

2. Define Requirements

Based on the on-site conditions, relevant regulations, and customer requirements, determine the specific noise reduction amount for the soundproofing and noise reduction project. Compare the measured noise data with the noise standards to establish the required noise reduction values, i.e., the decibel reduction for the noise level and the sound pressure level in each frequency band.

3. Confirm the Plan

When determining noise control solutions, it is crucial to first have a detailed understanding of the operational conditions of the machinery. The proposed plan should ensure that it does not affect the normal operation, production processes, or technical operations of the machinery. It is imperative to prevent the established noise control measures from hindering or even disrupting the normal production schedule. The determination of the plan should be tailored to the specific situation, ensuring both economic and reasonable feasibility.

4. Construction and Effectiveness Inspection

Once the plan is confirmed, the engineering team of the noise control company will proceed with the procurement of engineering materials and implementation according to the plan. After the noise control measures are implemented, it is essential to promptly conduct technical assessments or engineering inspections of the noise reduction effects. If the expected results are not achieved, it is necessary to promptly identify the reasons and add new measures based on the actual situation until the desired effects are reached.
