③ Determine the pipe size based on the home heating system's conditions. Steel radiator pipes come in 1/4", 1/2", and 1" sizes. When selecting a steel radiator, choose the appropriate installation location and have a professional measure to calculate the size, dimensions, and number of panels or sets required.
