The core component of the rotary desiccant dehumidifier is a honeycomb-shaped wheel, which is made of a special ceramic fiber carrier and composite active silicone; the wheel is divided into two zones by a custom-sealed device on both sides: the processing zone and the regeneration zone.
As damp air requiring dehumidification passes through the treatment area of the wheel, the moisture vapor in the wet air is adsorbed by the active silica of the wheel, while the dried air is then blown by the treatment fan to the area needing treatment. The wheel, which continually and slowly rotates, carries the approaching-saturated moisture vapor into the regeneration zone. Hot air blown in reverse within the regeneration zone desorbs the moisture adsorbed in the wheel, which is then exhausted outdoors by the fan, restoring the wheel's moisture adsorption capability and completing the regeneration process.
Utilizing an imported honeycomb silicone desiccant wheel, the wheel is formed into a cylinder with a honeycomb structure. The wheel is then rotated within a ceramic silicone crystalline body, dividing it into a desiccant area and a regeneration area. Air for dehumidification passes through the desiccant area, where the wheel absorbs moisture from the air, resulting in dry air. After absorbing moisture, the desiccant area rotates to the regeneration area, where heated air carries the moisture out of the wheel and exhausts it outdoors. Once the wheel releases moisture in the regeneration area, it rotates back to the desiccant area, where the process of dehumidification and regeneration continues simultaneously, providing a stable supply of dry air.
