The principle of the warm mist humidifier involves water being pumped to the sprinkler system by an upper pump through pipes. At the bottom of the system is a highly absorbent humidifying material called a wet membrane. Water permeates downward through the wet membrane material under the force of gravity, where it is absorbed by the material, forming a uniform water film. As dry air passes through the wet membrane material, water molecules absorb the heat from the air, vaporize, and evaporate, thereby increasing the air humidity and creating a moist air environment that is then delivered into the room. The increase in humidity within the room leads to a decrease in temperature, achieving the goal of humidification.
