The core component of the rotary desiccant dehumidifier is a honeycomb rotor, which is composed of a special ceramic fiber carrier and composite active silicone; the rotor is divided into two zones by a custom-made sealing device on both sides: the treatment zone and the regeneration zone.
As moist air needing dehumidification passes through the treatment area of the wheel, the water vapor in the moist air is adsorbed by the active silica of the wheel, while the dried air is sent to the space for processing by the treatment fan. The wheel, continuously and slowly rotating, carries the approaching-saturated water vapor into the regeneration area. Hot air blown in the opposite direction within the regeneration zone desorbs the moisture adsorbed in the wheel, which is then exhausted outdoors by the fan, thereby restoring the wheel's moisture absorption capability and completing the regeneration process.
Utilizing imported honeycomb-type silicone desiccant rotors, the rotors are structured into cylindrical disks with a honeycomb design. These disks then rotate within a housing containing desiccant and regeneration zones, made of ceramic silicone crystals. Air to be dehumidified passes through the desiccant zone, where the rotor absorbs moisture from the air, resulting in dry air. The desiccant zone, after absorbing moisture, rotates to the regeneration zone, where heated air carries the moisture out of the rotor and expels it outside. Once the moisture is released in the regeneration zone, the rotor rotates back to the desiccant zone, where the cycle repeats for continuous dehumidification and regeneration. This process provides a stable supply of dry air.
