As ambient air passes over the evaporator surface, due to the evaporator temperature being below the dew point of the air, water vapor condenses in the collection tray and is drained out through pipes. This reduces the moisture content of the air, allowing for indoor heating, cooling, and dehumidification based on the user's requirements for environmental temperature and humidity.
