As ambient air passes over the evaporator surface, due to the evaporator being cooler than the dew point temperature of the air, water vapor condenses in the water collection tray and is drained out through pipes. This reduces the humidity of the air. The indoor environment can be heated, cooled, and dehumidified based on the user's requirements for temperature and humidity in the operating environment.
