As ambient air passes over the evaporator surface, due to the evaporator's temperature being below the dew point of the air, water vapor condenses in the water collection tray and is drained out through pipes. This reduces the humidity of the air. The indoor environment can be heated, cooled, and dehumidified based on the user's requirements for the temperature and humidity of the operating environment.
