S-shaped steam heater

Overview
S-shaped steam heaters (finned pipes) are a standard type of finned pipes suitable for steam heating systems. Due to the water inlets and outlets being located on opposite sides of the pipes, curved pipes are used to alleviate stress caused by thermal expansion and other factors.
Finned tubes are made by winding Φ16×1mm copper tubes with 10×0.2mm corrugated copper strips, forming a spiral structure. They come in three different fin spacing options: 3.2mm-"R", 4.2mm-"M", and 6.5mm-"T". The "R" spacing has a smaller fin spacing and a larger heat dissipation area, offering higher heat dissipation; the "M" spacing has a larger fin spacing with lower heat dissipation and air resistance; the "T" spacing is suitable for higher steam pressure and lower air temperature rise.
The S-type steam heater comes in a variety of sizes with different surface tube lengths, tube counts, row numbers, and fin spacing, totaling 765 different specifications.
After the fin tube winding is completed, each tube is surface plated with tin alloy to ensure a tight contact between the fins and the tube, and to achieve an aesthetically pleasing and corrosion-resistant finish.
The connection of finned tubes with the air return header is all soldered with copper, and all other工艺details are strictly enforced to ensure the radiator performs well, is durable, easy to install, and cost-effective.
S-type numbering method
Model - Row Count (Pitch Code) - Tube Count on Surface - Tube Length (inches).
If two rows are used, with a slice spacing of 3.2mm and 21 tubes on the surface, with each tube measuring 60 inches, it is designated as S--2(R)--21--60.

Note:
1. The surface area in the table is based on 2R--fin data. For other conditions, the following constants can be used for conversion:
IR -- Finned Surface Area = 2R -- Finned Surface Area × 0.5
2M--Fin Surface Area = 2R--Fin Surface Area × 0.77
1M--Fin Heat Transfer Area = 2R—Fin Heat Transfer Area × 0.385
2T – Finned Cooling Area = 2R Finned Cooling Area × 0.54
1T—Fin Surface Area = 2R—Fin Surface Area × 0.27
2. The ventilation net area in the table is calculated based on the spacing between the sheets. If a different spacing is used, the following constants can be used for conversion:
The net ventilation area of type M = The net ventilation area of type R × 1.015
T spacing ventilation net area = R spacing ventilation net area × 1.035
3. The net weight in the table refers to the weight of the pipes with IR fins and 2R fins. If the fin spacing is different, the following constants can be used for conversion:
1M - Tube weight of fins = Tube weight of fins per IR spacing × 0.94
2M -- pipe with fins net weight = 2R pipe with fins net weight × 0.92
1T -- Net weight of the pipe arrangement for IR sheets = Net weight of the pipe arrangement for IR spacing × 0.85
2T - Tube net weight with fins = 2R tube net weight with fins × 0.78
