Gravel polymer concrete typically uses a surface retardant, mixed with a variety of colored stone sands, laid, and then delayed the setting of the surface aggregates. The natural color of the stone sand is revealed by washing with water, creating a type of natural colored gravel concrete flooring, also known as a colored gravel polymer flooring.

Another type of similar colored aggregate concrete flooring is formed by applying a decorative aggregate overlay to plastic concrete. Simulated polymer aggregate concrete is achieved by hand-sprinkling the aggregates, with the requirement that the particle sizes be uniform and they should be washed before installation. Distribute the aggregates evenly on the surface, then press them into the concrete using a trowel or a straightedge. Begin to apply immediately after treating the concrete with a straightedge, compacting until the aggregates are fully embedded in the concrete surface. Float the exposed aggregates using water washing or setting-retarding agents.

Polymer aggregate concrete technology classification:

1. Gravel Concrete Surface Squeegee Treatment: Drag a clean stiff-bristled brush over the plastic surface to achieve even stripes, forming a brushed finish. The direction of the stripes on adjacent panels should be interlaced.

1) Light surface brushing: created by sweeping with medium to high hardness synthetic bristles.

2) Moderate Surface Sweep: Achieved by sweeping with medium to high hardness palm bristle brushes.

3) Heavy-duty surface sweeping: Achieved by pushing with a high-hardness palm brush or wire brush.

2. Gravel Concrete Sponge Troweling: Compared to smooth troweling, it has a slightly rougher texture, achieved by applying with a sponge or rubber trowel, leaving radiating troweling patterns. Or, please consult the owner for artistic guidance to determine the required troweling patterns.

3. Gravel concrete steel trowel or spatula finish surface: A smooth, hard, and dense surface without any traces of trowels, spatulas, grooving knives, or edging knives. It can be applied only after the concrete troweling is completed and when the concrete surface is free of moisture during the smoothing process.

4. Smooth Troweled Aggregate Concrete: Offers a relatively smooth finish with textures that provide ample slip resistance. Apply using a wooden or metal trowel along continuous circular patterns to leave fine textures. Alternatively, seek the client's artistic guidance to determine the desired troweling patterns.
