Porous concrete, as an environmentally friendly load-reducing concrete, not only excels in its excellent permeability and sufficient rainwater collection capabilities, but also serves multiple functions such as noise absorption and reduction, flood resistance, and alleviating the urban "heat island effect."
The permeable pavement structure, from top to bottom, is as follows: compacted soil, graded crushed stone, and 60~120mm permeable concrete.
Porous concrete construction mainly includes: laying, shaping, surface treatment, and joint handling.1) Laying: By mechanical or manual methods both acceptable.
2) Molding: Construction can be carried out using flat vibrators, vibration leveling rollers, manual push-pull rollers, and vibration leveling beams.
3) Surface Treatment: Primarily for enhancing the visual appeal, involves整形 or cleaning the surface of the formed pervious concrete.
4) The setting of transverse joints in permeable concrete pavements is essentially the same as that in normal concrete pavements. The joints should be evenly spaced, with a spacing not exceeding 6 meters.
Porous concrete pavement is a lightweight, fine aggregate-free concrete mixture consisting of cement, special additives, aggregates, and water in a specific ratio. It is superior to other paving materials in terms of ecology and environmental protection, belonging to the full permeable type. Its features are: permeable, water-retaining, and breathable.
