Water-washed stone is a construction technique that has become increasingly popular in recent years. It primarily involves mixing natural river or sea pebbles or gravels with cement in a proportionate manner and applying the mixture to the base. After smoothing with a load-bearing tool, the surface adhesive is treated to reveal the original appearance of the stones.

Due to the varied colors and shapes of its raw materials, it can be used to create patterns of all shapes and designs, widely applied in interior decoration and exterior landscaping. Some large-scale exterior wall finishes also use water-washed stone, exuding a natural, rustic feel.
