Porous concrete construction method:

1) Permeable subgrade with lower water retention capacity
This subgrade mainly consists of a leveling layer and a permeable subgrade. The permeable subgrade has a high void ratio but is not thick, thus offering excellent permeability. It is suitable for areas with low precipitation, strong permeability in the subgrade, and high bearing capacity. It is primarily used in places such as sidewalks, non-motorized pathways, squares, parking lots, and pedestrian streets.
2) Permeable subgrade with high water retention capacity
Generally composed of a leveling layer, a water-retaining base layer, and geotextile, the water-retaining layer is thick with a low void ratio. When heavy rainfall occurs and cannot be drained promptly, part of the rainwater is stored in the base layer to prevent waterlogging on the road surface. This base layer is suitable for areas with heavy rainfall, providing both water retention and drainage. Below the water-retaining layer is the geotextile, which serves to maintain the bearing capacity of the cushion layer.

Permeable pavement overflow structures around the perimeter: Widely used in parking lots, these permeable pavements must have certain load-bearing capacity. However, as strength is increased, the permeability decreases. In heavy rainfall, it becomes difficult to timely drain off the water, leading to ponding on the road surface, hence the adoption of perimeter overflow structures.

The textured paving is achieved by applying a dry sprinkling of colored reinforcing agents to the freshly laid concrete surface after the water has disappeared from the surface. Then, a specialized tool is used to blend the colored reinforcing agents into the concrete layer. Once the surface moisture and luster have vanished, a uniform application of colored release and maintenance agents is done, followed by immediate stamping with pre-selected molds on the concrete surface to create various design styles, textures, and colors.
