Pouring: Before pouring, the subgrade must be moistened with water. Since the permeable pavement mixture is relatively dry and hard, simply lay the mixed permeable pavement and good permeable pavement materials flat on the subgrade.

Maintenance: Since porous pavements have numerous holes, they are prone to water loss and dry quickly, making maintenance crucial. Especially in the early stage, it is important to prevent excessive evaporation of moisture in the pavement. Generally, the demolding time for pervious concrete is shorter than that for normal concrete, so its sides and edges are exposed to air. Use plastic film or burlap to cover the surface and sides promptly to maintain humidity and ensure complete hydration of the cement. Begin watering maintenance for pervious pavements the next day after pouring, avoiding using high-pressure water jets directly on the concrete surface as it may wash away some cement slurry, creating weaker areas. However, it is appropriate to water from top to bottom in normal circumstances. The ideal watering maintenance period for pervious pavements is 5 to 7 days.
