Water-washed stone is a construction technique that has gained popularity in recent years. It primarily involves mixing natural river or sea pebbles or gravel with cement in proportion, applying the mixture to the base, flattening it with a load-bearing tool, and then treating the surface adhesive to reveal the original appearance of the stones.

Due to the diverse colors and shapes of its raw materials, it can be used to create various patterns and designs, making it widely applied in interior decoration and outdoor landscape shaping. Some large-area exterior wall renovations also utilize the water-washed stone, exuding a natural and simple feel.

Cautionary Notice:

Be mindful of the content of washed stone; too little affects the visual appeal, while too much can result in loose bonding. For example, with particle sizes of 3-5mm, the ideal content per square meter is 18-20kg.

2. Gravel and cement should be thoroughly mixed before adding water. Prior to laying, all debris on the concrete sublayer should be cleaned to prevent loose碎石 from detaching and causing cracks.

3. The water-washed stone surface layer can be connected with other paving materials using copper strips or PE separator strips, ensuring a complete water-washed stone edge line.

4. When leveling, use a trowel to gently tap and smooth the mixed slurry repeatedly. Ensure thorough bonding between the mixed slurry and the base to evenly distribute the aggregates. Outdoor construction temperatures should not be below 4°C, as this affects the bonding and curing, making it prone to falling off.

5. Clean the surface promptly with a sponge while it's semi-dry, and repair the stone granules.

6. Ensure timely protection of finished products. Once fully dried, apply water-based resin for waterproofing, stain resistance, and enhanced shine.
