EHE's heat shield is a PTFE-coated glass fiber fabric with a thickness of 0.38-0.43mm, which we refer to as single-sided Teflon fabric. It is primarily used as the outer layer of insulation blankets to protect them from moisture and outdoor environmental influences. This fabric is made from dyed woven glass fibers, with one side dipped in a special PTFE coating. Due to its exposure to harsh environments, we have improved the dipping method to ensure higher adhesion between the PTFE and the base glass fiber fabric, making the fabric softer. Moreover, there is no smoke produced when heated to 300°C.
PTFE valve heat shield fabric can withstand continuous temperatures up to 600F (315°C). This PTFE fabric boasts high wear resistance, water resistance, oil resistance, chemical resistance, and flame retardancy, making it easy to sew and suitable for various types of removable heat shields, blankets, and pads.
