CNC Face and External Diameter Grinding Machine




Primary Uses:

The数控end face and external cylindrical grinding machine is a grinding machine with an inclined abrasive wheel frame, cutting at an angle. The abrasive wheel axis forms a 30° angle with the workpiece axis. It is primarily used for grinding the end faces and external cylindrical surfaces of shaft-type components with shoulders, suitable for workshops engaged in mass production. It can also be used as a general external cylindrical grinding machine to grind cylindrical or conical rotatable workpieces.


Structural Characteristics:

1. The machine tool features the FANUC Series O-GCD with two CNC coordinate axes and two servo motors, one driving the grinding wheel carriage (X-axis) and the other the dresser (W-axis) feed. It also compensates for the grinding wheel after dressing. The control console is located in the right front of the machine tool, equipped with a coordinate value display and operation keys. The grinding dimensions, grinding cycles, and conditions of the machining process are inputted into the memory using this input method, enabling automatic cyclic grinding or manual adjustment operations.

2. Dimension control for workpieces includes two methods: automatic grinding with a measuring instrument and automatic grinding without a measuring instrument. The automatic measuring device can be custom-ordered to meet user requirements.

3. The abrasive wheel line speed is 45m/s. The abrasive wheel spindle bearing features a long sleeve type for easy assembly and disassembly, utilizing a hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearing.

4. The sanding wheel stand is equipped with a profiling dresser. It can automatically trim the forming sanding wheel for the grinding face and the outer circular workpiece to match the template shape.

5. Prior to automatic facing and external cylindrical grinding, the workpiece can automatically make minor axial movements. A tool-setting device ensures that each face is positioned identically.

6. Machining centers, in addition to cut-and-grind, also feature longitudinal grinding. The worktable is actuated by hydraulic cylinders for reciprocating motion, and can also be manually cranked.

7. Parts, grinding wheels, oil pumps, and cooling pumps are all driven by separate motors. Hydraulic components are housed in an independent oil tank. The feeding transmission parts can be operated either manually or mechanically. The electrical and hydraulic systems are stable and reliable, with ease of machine operation and maintenance.
