Rope Barrier Structure

Rope guard end posts are generally made of 165*5.0mm steel pipes, with a height of 1500mm and diagonal supports of 1720mm in length. The base plate measures 200*1700*9.5mm in thickness and is焊接 using a flux cored welder. It is then subjected to hot galvanizing or powder coating. The central column is typically 140*4.5mm, with a pre-buried height of 1500mm and a pile length of 2650mm. They are usually made by hot galvanized pipe punching and then bolted together, commonly with 3, 4, 5, 6 ropes, etc., depending on customer specifications. The steel wire rope has a 3-strand 7-core structure, with a single wire diameter of 2.86mm twisted to a diameter of 18mm. Generally, a standard zinc-coated wire rope is sufficient, with a tensile strength of around 1300kN. If the central column spacing is too long, an interval retainer is required to prevent the wire rope from sagging.
