Lift installation and maintenance are divided into two categories.
1. Elevator Mechanical Installation and Maintenance (T1)
2. Elevator Electrical Installation & Maintenance (T2)
Elevators are classified as special equipment, and personnel involved in special equipment operations must be certified. This is the elevator certification, which falls under the special equipment operator certification category. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and bring their personal documents to the certification training center for registration. It usually takes about two months to obtain the certification. If you have any questions about elevator certification applications, feel free to call at any time for consultation.

T1, T2 Registration Process: Please bring 3 2-inch color photos with a white background, 2 original and 2 copies, 2 copies of the "Special Equipment Operator Application Form" (available at the lower left of the "Special Equipment Examination Platform"), 2 copies of the Notice, and 2 copies of the Safety Training and Internship (available at the lower left of the "Special Equipment Examination Platform") to the on-site registration and review.
Payment required: Training fee is 500 RMB per item (including training, teaching materials, assessment, etc.); For those applying for both Mechanical and Electrical Installation and Maintenance, an original electrician's license and 2 copies are required, with a training fee of 600 RMB for 2 items (including training, teaching materials, and assessment fees, etc.); Students are responsible for their own accommodation and meals arrangements, and cover the associated costs.

The Elevator Operation Certificate, also known as the Special Equipment Operator Certificate of China, is a must-have for anyone seeking to obtain an elevator certification, which should be issued by an elevator company with installation and maintenance capabilities. If you're employed by a property management company, you can only obtain an Elevator Driver Certificate! Elevator operation requires electrical traction, so whether you're involved in installation or maintenance, a low-voltage electrician and an elevator operator are indispensable.

Elevator maintenance licenses are categorized into three levels: A, B, and C.
All entities engaged in the installation, modification, maintenance, and daily maintenance of elevators and other special equipment must obtain the "Special Equipment Installation, Modification, and Maintenance License" and operate within the scope authorized by the license. Daily maintenance units for elevators must obtain the permit for elevator repair.
