PVC Windows and Doors

PVC windows and doors feature a multi-chambered structure with excellent thermal insulation properties. Their heat transfer performance is extremely low, at just 1/357 of steel and 1/250 of aluminum. This clearly demonstrates the significant heat insulation and preservation effects of plastic windows and doors, making them particularly suitable for modern buildings equipped with heating and air conditioning systems. Survey and comparison show that: the indoor temperature of rooms with plastic steel windows and doors can be 4-5 degrees higher than that with wooden windows and doors during winter; double-glazed windows are more effective in northern regions. According to tests by the Physical Institute of the Construction Research Institute, the thermal conductivity of single glass steel and aluminum windows is 64 W/M2K; the thermal conductivity of single glass plastic steel windows is about 47 W/M2K; the thermal conductivity of ordinary double-glazed steel and aluminum windows is about 3.7 W/M2K; and the thermal conductivity of double-glazed plastic steel windows is approximately 2.5 W/M2K. Windows and doors occupy 30% of the building's peripheral structure area, and their heat loss accounts for 49%. Therefore, plastic steel windows offer excellent energy-saving benefits.
