Large Diameter Spiral Steel Pipe

Spiral-welded steel pipes for pressure fluid conveyance, utilizing GB/T9711-2023 spiral seam submerged arc welding pipes, mainly used for oil and natural gas pipeline transportation.

Generally used for low-pressure fluid transmission, spiral seam submerged arc-welded steel pipes according to GB/T3091-2015 and SY/T5037-2023, produced by double-sided automatic submerged arc welding method, suitable for low-pressure fluid transmission of water, coal gas, air, steam, etc.

Common standards for spiral steel pipes generally include: SY/T5037-2023 (Ministry Standard, also known as Spiral Submerged Arc Welded Steel Pipe for Ordinary Fluid Transportation), GB/T3091-2015, GB/T9711-2023 PSL1 and PSL2 (National Standard, also known as Steel Pipe for Oil and Gas Industry Transportation, API-5L (American Petroleum Institute, also known as Pipe Line Steel; it is divided into two grades: PSL1 and PSL2)), and SY/T5040-2008 (Spiral Welded Steel Pipe for Piling).

SY/T5037-2023 is a general standard set by the Ministry of Petroleum, often referred to as the Ministry Standard.

Piling Spiral Welded Steel Pipe (SY5040-2008) is manufactured from hot-rolled steel strip coils, formed by normal temperature spiral rolling, and produced by double-sided submerged arc welding or high-frequency welding.
