Water Jet Applications on Assembly Lines

For continuous production lines, our company utilizes a modularly designed dual-core ultra-high-pressure system, featuring independent single-core and dual-core operation capabilities. With independent communication capabilities, it can be quickly and easily connected to the master control system's production line, allowing for immediate installation and use. The multi-head water jet cutting system design addresses the lifespan issues of nozzles and abrasive water pipes. The dual-core high-pressure system is set up with one in use and one in reserve, ensuring uninterrupted maintenance.
Case Study: Application of Water Jet Cutting in PET Aluminum-Plastic Composite Production Line

PET composite materials are a new type of structural composite panel product formed by continuously online lamination of metal sheet materials as the panel and PET materials as the core at high temperatures. Due to the inconsistent thermal melting points of materials in the composite layer, the thermal cutting process is obviously not suitable. Traditional processing methods are typically mechanical cutting, such as using a grinding wheel or saw blade. This method often leads to two drawbacks: one is cut damage, where there are phenomena such as delamination, tearing, burrs, and pulling near the edge of the cut; the other is interlayer stacking, where the composite material layers separate, causing the internal structure of the component to become loose and reducing the component's strength. Ultra-high-pressure water jet cutting, using non-contact cold processing technology, has no delamination during the processing, and the material does not experience carbonization or thermal cracking. The speed of ultra-high-pressure water jet cutting, along with the cutting effect of fine sand and grinding sand, ensures a flat, smooth, and accurate cutting surface.
