Suzhou Duct Chain Selection Principles:

1. Determine the chain plate height (hg) and conveyor model based on the large aperture (Dma) of the support plate.

2. The inner diameter of the support plate cavity D1 is approximately d + 0.1d (round to the nearest integer). Here, d represents the outer diameter of wires, cables, liquid, and gas hoses.

3. Determine the bend radius of the chain for the support plate type based on the chain's functional requirements.

4. Choose a split-type support plate when the tube fitting size exceeds the inner diameter of the support plate or when frequent disassembly, maintenance, etc., is required.

5. When the chain needs to bear a large load of pipes and cables, an all-in-one high-strength support plate type should be selected.

6. When there are many specifications and types of piping to be installed, frame-type support plates can be chosen.

7. When the application of machine tool chain guides is restricted due to constraints or environmental influences, steel belt protective support plates should be used.

8. Determine the width b1 of the support plate based on the number of installed conduits, thereby ascertaining the chain width B.

Suzhou Chain Guide Specifications:

The structure can be divided into TL steel plate tanks, chain links and TLG steel plate tanks, chain links. The steel plate tanks and chain links are categorized by pitch into types 45, 65, 75, 95, 100, 125, 180, 225, and 250.

The chain-link width can be customized to meet customer requirements, with a bending radius ranging from 50 to 800. There are three types of support plates available.

(1) When the chain needs to bear large pipe or cable loads, high-strength support plates should be chosen – solid block type

(2) When the pipe fitting size of the pipeline is larger than the inner diameter of the support plate, or when frequent disassembly, maintenance, etc., is required, a split-type support plate can be selected.

(3) When there are many specifications and types of pipe and cable installations, a frame-type support plate can be used.

Points to note when in use:

1. The TLG and TL type steel trestles feature a travel distance of 40 meters, suitable for all types of transmission.

It can be easily extended or shortened. Additionally, the bending radius can be adjusted by changing the pivot pin. The bending radius should be selected based on the large diameter of the cable and should be ten times the cable's diameter. For shorter travel, a smaller radius can be appropriately chosen.

2. The support plate width for steel flat chains ranges from 150mm to 800mm, with a spacing of 10mm between holes. The height of the chain plate, which is also the height of the support plate, is determined by the large diameter of the cable.

When the machine tool operates at maximum capacity, if the width of the steel drag chain exceeds 300mm and the length exceeds 4m, a larger size drag chain should be considered for stability reasons.
