The chipper failed to start after the initial installation and power connection.
Solution: Check if the motor power input voltage is normal and if there are any loose connections.
2. The motor is running idle, and the conveyor chain is not operating.
Solution: To extend the lifespan of the motor, our company has employed a protector on the reducer.
Loosen the protector screw gently until the conveyor chain starts to run (Note: Do not overtighten the protector screw, or the protector will lose its protective function for the motor).
3. The屑机 that has been used for a long time has developed chain elongation and loosening.
Solution: Adjust the drive shaft adjustment bolt according to the actual situation until normal.
During the chip removal process, jamming or fragments getting stuck in the chain, rendering it inoperable.
Solution: In the event of such an issue, immediately cease the operation of the chipper, remove the debris caught in the chain plate, and promptly consult the manufacturer.
5. Chip Chain Plate Breakage.
This damage was primarily caused by overloading of the conveyor chain, while the reducer motor continued to operate normally. The main countermeasures include loosening the mechanical overload protector.
To ensure its normal operation, we've encountered situations where the overload protector slips to prevent the chain from being pulled apart; another approach is to install an electronic overload protector.
Set an appropriate current level; when the current exceeds this value, the circuit breaker trips, thereby protecting the chain from breaking.
6. Iron filings often get stuck, preventing normal discharge.
