310S Stainless Steel 310S (old grade 0Cr25Ni20/new grade 06Cr25Ni20) is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, thanks to its higher percentage of chromium and nickel. It boasts significantly improved creep strength, allowing it to operate continuously at high temperatures with excellent high-temperature resistance. Features 310S stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with excellent oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and a much higher creep strength due to its higher percentage of chromium and nickel. It can continue to operate under high temperatures with good high-temperature stability. With high contents of nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr), it exhibits good resistance to oxidation, corrosion, acid and alkali, and high-temperature performance. High-temperature-resistant steel pipes are used in applications such as electric heating furnace tubes. Adding carbon to the austenitic stainless steel increases its strength due to its solid solution strengthening effect. The chemical composition of the austenitic stainless steel is characterized by the addition of molybdenum, tungsten, niobium, and titanium to a base of chromium and nickel. Due to its face-centered cubic structure, it maintains high strength and creep resistance at high temperatures. Melting point: 1470°C; begins to soften at 800°C, with permissible stress continually decreasing. Chemical Composition C :≤0.08, Si :≤1.500, Mn :≤2.00, P :≤0.035, S :≤0.030, Ni :≤19.00-22.00, Cr :≤24.00-26.00 Mechanical properties Tensile Strength (бb) (MPa): ≥520 Yield Strength (σs) (MPa): ≥205 Area Reduction (ψ)%: ≥50 Mechanical properties Tensile strength (ób) ≥ 520 MPa, yield strength (ó0.2) ≥ 205 MPa, elongation at break (δ5) ≥ 40%, impact resistance (Ψ) ≥ 50%, hardness (HB) ≤ 187. Capable of withstanding high temperatures above 1150°C. Melting point ranges from 1398°C to 1454°C. Usage Stamping molds, fixtures, tools, gauges, paper cutters, auxiliary tools, etc. Features Enhance the brittle nature of common carbon tool steel to extend tool life. Vacuum degassed refined steel, with stable quality. Good hardenability, oil quenched for hardness (with minimal cracking and deformation), excellent toughness and wear resistance, ensuring long-lasting tool durability. Heat Treatment Tempering: 180~200°F Annealed condition, ≤207HB, indentation diameter ≥ 4.20mm Quenching, ≥62HRC
