Road Marking Standards

Firstly, measurements and layout are conducted based on the design drawings' dimensions. A control point is set every 50 meters along the route, with denser points for curved sections, one every 10 meters. Then, a marking is made with chalk to serve as the baseline for the lines.
2. After setting the reference points, lay out and secure the marking string along them. Ensure each reference point is of the correct size while maintaining a straight and smooth line. Subsequently, draw the reference line, with the dashed and solid lines of the driving lane part based on this reference line.
3. After the baseline is established, road sweeping can commence. To ensure the quality of the line painting and effective bonding with the asphalt pavement, the road must be swept with shovels and brooms prior to painting. Water rinsing may be necessary, and the road must be free of debris. However, it is essential to wait until the road is completely dry before proceeding.
Before applying the road marking, first spray the undercoat on the marking area to ensure adequate adhesion between the marking and the road surface. While applying the undercoat, add the paint to the hot melt to fully melt it for application. The heating temperature of the paint must exceed 180 degrees.
5. The line marking application is carried out using a line painting machine. After the paint is dissolved, pour it into the line painting machine to prepare for painting. Before painting, adjust the flow rate of the hopper on the line painting machine to ensure the coating thickness, achieving the desired line marking thickness as per design specifications.
6. The marking machine should advance along the baseline at a uniform speed without any bending. After the cold film has condensed, it should be free of wrinkles, bubbles, cracks, peeling, and any sticky surface appearance.
7. Line marking spraying should be scheduled during daylight hours, and work should be temporarily halted during rain, heavy dust, or strong winds.
