The TDC2000 series of switch-mode programmable DC power supplies are high-frequency switch-mode DC power supplies utilizing PWM technology. They feature a modular design and DSP digital control technology, offering constant voltage, constant current, and constant power output modes. They can automatically switch between modes while maintaining control and protection characteristics. This ensures high precision, low ripple, and fast dynamic response of voltage and current, with an efficiency of up to 93%. Compared to traditional SCR power supplies, these high-frequency switch-mode DC power supplies have advantages such as smaller size, lighter weight, lower ripple, higher power factor, and better stability. The high voltage output stability is particularly pronounced. The product is primarily targeted at the electronic power production, battery industry, PCB manufacturing industry, as well as communication, PLC power supply, electromechanical aging tests, DC motor testing, automated test system integration, battery charging and simulation, hybrid electric vehicle and photovoltaic inverter testing and research units, and laboratories with a demand for high-precision DC power supplies. They are used to replace imported medium to high-power DC power supply products.
Product Features
◇ Utilizes high-speed DSP for PID calculation, directly outputs PWM, modular design, high power density, compact size, significantly reduces failure rate.
◇ The control circuit uses a high-speed CPU with high voltage stability and low ripple.
◇ Utilizes a 16-bit high-speed ADC for rapid and accurate measurement of voltage and current values.
◇ Features constant pressure, constant current, and constant power output modes, capable of automatic crossover transformation to maintain both control and protection characteristics.
◇ Features overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection. In the system, overvoltage (OVP) and overcurrent (OCP) can be set, and values can be modified.
◇ Features 9 memory groups, allowing for the setting of commonly used parameters (voltage, current) for easy recall during use. It can execute 30 different voltage, current, power, rise time, and operating time settings at once, and can perform a continuous loop test up to 999,999 times. The operating time can be set to 1ms.
◇ Offer embedded intelligent PC-based monitoring systems with RS232, (RS485) communication interfaces; analog control.

Constant Voltage (CV) to Constant Current (CC) Switching Instructions: Under rated power, voltage, and current output, the desired settings can be freely combined; the output mode is either CV or CC, depending on the power supply's output voltage, the set current value, and the size of the load resistance. As shown in the diagram: Curve 1 and Curve represent two loads with different resistances. When Curve 1 intersects with Iset, the power supply operates in CC mode. When Curve 2 intersects with Vset, the power supply operates in CV mode.
You can determine the load's status through a simple calculation:
Here, Vset = the set voltage value, Iset = the set current value.
The set load value Rset is obtained as Rset = Vset / Iset.
If we have an actual load value RL = Vo/Io,
When RL > Rset, the power supply operates in constant voltage mode.
When RL < Rset, the power supply operates in constant current mode.
