Section 1: Structure and Working Principle of Coal Slurry Drying Machine
The coal slime dryer is composed of a heat source, a discharging device, a belt-type feeding machine, a feeding machine, a rotating drum, a belt-type discharging machine, an induced draught fan, a discharge hopper, and an electrical control cabinet. The working principle of this equipment is as follows: Due to its stickiness, coal slime enters the dryer and is processed through several working zones during the drying process: 1. The guiding zone, where the wet coal slime comes into contact with high-temperature hot air, rapidly evaporating moisture. The material, under the action of the large-angle scraper, does not form clumps and is transferred to the next working zone; 2. The cleaning zone, where the wet coal slime is lifted by the scraper to form a material curtain, and it is easy to form clumps on the drum wall. However, due to the presence of a cleaning device in this zone, the inner wall is effectively cleaned of adhered material. In this process, the cleaning device also plays a破碎 role in breaking up clumped material, thereby increasing the heat exchange area and enhancing the drying rate; 3. The inclined feeding plate zone, where the wet coal slime is in a low-moisture, loose state. The material in this zone no longer has adhesion and, after heat exchange, reaches the required moisture level, entering the subsequent discharging zone; 4. The discharging zone, where the drum does not have a scraper. The material rolls and slides to the discharge port, completing the entire drying process.
II. Key Features
1. The dryer boasts strong overload resistance, high processing capacity, low fuel consumption, and low drying costs.
2. Employing downstream drying method, the flue gas and wet material enter the dryer from the same side, enabling a high evaporation intensity to be achieved through the use of high-temperature flue gas. The exit temperature of the dryer is low, and the thermal efficiency is high.
3. Adjust operating parameters according to different material properties to form a stable full-bonded material curtain within the dryer drum, enabling more thorough heat exchange.
4. The new feeding and discharging device eliminates issues such as clogging, discontinuity, uneven feeding, and backflow in drum dryers, reducing the load on the dust removal system.
5. The new internal structure enhances the cleaning and heat conduction of dispersed materials, eliminates sticking on the cylinder inner wall, and has better adaptability to material moisture and viscosity.
6. The dryer achieves "zero horizontal thrust," significantly reducing the wear on the挡托轮, ensuring smooth and reliable cylinder operation.
7. The dryer features a "centering roller bearing unit," ensuring linear contact between the roller and the ring, thereby significantly reducing wear and power loss.
8. Product particle size and moisture content can be controlled according to customer requirements. During the drying process of coal slime, the moisture content of the product can be reduced to below 8%, and the particle size can be controlled to less than 8mm.
