I. Working Principle and Application Scope

This equipment saves one-third of energy compared to traditional rotary drum dryers, significantly reducing production costs. Its working principle is as follows: Desulfurized gypsum enters the inner layer of the three-layer drum through the feeding device, achieving downstream drying. Under the scraper in the inner layer, the gypsum is continuously lifted and scattered in a spiral motion for heat exchange. The material moves to the other end of the inner layer and enters the middle layer for upstream drying, where it is repeatedly lifted and scattered in a two-step-forward-one-step-backward manner. In the middle layer, the material absorbs the heat emitted by the inner drum, as well as the heat from the middle drum, thereby extending the drying time and achieving a dry state. When the material reaches the other end of the middle layer, it falls into the outer layer, where it moves in a rectangular multi-loop manner within the drum. Material that has achieved the drying effect is quickly moved out of the drum by the hot air, while wet material that has not reached the drying effect cannot move quickly due to its own weight. This material is fully dried within the rectangular scraper, achieving the drying effect and completing the drying process. This equipment is suitable for drying materials such as gypsum and fly ash.

II. Main Features of Desulfurization Gypsum Drying Machine

2. The three-tube calcined gypsum dryer employs a countercurrent drying method, where hot air and wet material enter the dryer from the same side. This allows for a high evaporation intensity due to the high-temperature air, resulting in a low exit temperature from the dryer and high thermal efficiency.

3. These three drying machines can adjust operating parameters according to different material properties, allowing for the formation of a stable full-section material curtain within the drum, resulting in more thorough heat and mass transfer.

4. The new feeding and discharging equipment eliminates issues such as clogging, discontinuity, uneven feeding, and backflow in the drum dryer, reducing the load on the dust removal system.
