Gravity Flow Racks, also known as Self-Flow Racks, are a type of heavy-duty rack that evolved from pallet racks. They are ideal for storing large quantities of the same item in limited variety, offering high space utilization. The depth and number of levels of gravity flow racks can be customized as needed. Features include: 1. Goods are loaded from the top, slide down to the bottom, and then removed from the bottom. Dampers are set on the slide tracks to control the sliding speed of goods, ensuring safety. A separator is installed at the discharge end of the slide track, allowing for smooth removal of goods from the first position by handling equipment. 2. Goods follow a first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle. The racks have high storage density and flexible coordination capabilities. 3. Suitable for storage operations with pallets as the carrier, ensuring neat stacking and providing a good solution for storing large, heavy items. The space utilization rate exceeds 75%, and only one loading and unloading channel is required. 4. Gravity flow racks are highly environmentally friendly, using a completely passive design with no energy consumption, low noise, and reliability. They can operate at full capacity. There are no work aisles between racks, increasing space utilization by 60% and improving the storage density. Pallet handling follows the FIFO principle; automatic storage rotation; and the separation of storage and picking operations significantly increases output. Since the goods slide due to gravity and there are no operational aisles, transportation routes and forklifts are minimized.
