Through-aisle racking, also known as aisle racking or drive-in racking, allows forklifts (or trolleys with forks) to enter the aisles to load and unload goods. Ideal for storing goods with limited varieties but large batch sizes. For single-face picking, it's recommended not to exceed 7 bays in depth due to forklift access to the racking interior. To enhance forklift speed, guide tracks can be installed as needed. Compared to bin racking, through-aisle racking (drive-in racking) can increase storage space utilization by over 30%. It is widely used in wholesale, cold storage, and food, tobacco industries. Advantages of through-aisle racking include: 1.
