Light-duty shelving is a type of storage shelving, categorized by the type of shelf. It is distinguished and named according to the shelf's load-bearing capacity. Under this classification, light-duty shelves have a smaller load-bearing capacity compared to all other storage shelves. Typically, the load-bearing capacity of shelves is ≦150kg per shelf (the majority of shelf loads are calculated on a per-shelf basis). Features of light-duty shelves: 1.
