If this is the case, the heat exchanger is not functioning properly.
Generally, when fibrous materials and large particles are present in a heat exchanger, the effect of backwashing the unit is quite significant. The purpose of backwashing the heat exchanger can be achieved through either of the following two methods:
1. Flush the device in the opposite direction of normal operation with plain water.
2. Install pipelines and set valves on them to operate in reverse mode at the product's side at a fixed time, which is suitable for heat exchangers that handle steam.
When the water contains a considerable amount of solids or fibrous material, it is recommended to install a mesh filter on the supply pipeline in front of the heat exchanger, which can reduce the frequency of backwashing.
