    Guangzhou Shengte Reinforcement Co., Ltd. Showcase: Classic Building Rectification Case in Dongguan Zhengteng Industrial Park Dormitory Building. The dormitory building, located at the Meisha section of Wangsha Road in Hongmei Town, Dongguan City, is a structure over 60 meters tall that has tilted and twisted due to uneven settlement of the dry foundation. The owner and relevant authorities were preparing for demolition and reconstruction. However, upon learning about the situation, our company conducted a thorough on-site investigation and carefully studied the technical data of the building. Combining our years of construction experience, we developed a detailed foundation settlement treatment and rectification plan, which was successfully approved by the experts.


    Despite the considerable construction challenges, our company, through numerous efforts, successfully completed the project on time. We achieved the success of building correction and structural foundation reinforcement, thereby saving the dormitory building from demolition and reconstruction. This has resulted in significant economic and social benefits, and has garnered widespread positive feedback from the society.


    The reinforced tilt correction for the intersection of Building A's Axis with Axis 1 has reached approximately 48cm, and with Axis 18, the tilt has reached about 18cm, with a tilt value of 11.5‰.


    The building foundation reinforcement project employs expanded footings and statically pressed piles with anchor rods, tailored to the geological conditions of the building site.


    During the static pile construction, it was found that the intersection of the B-axis with axes 1-10 has a thick layer of coarse sand about 5-7 meters at the foundation bottom, while the intersection of the A-axis with axes 10-18 has a 3-5 meter thick layer of coarse sand. As the coarse sand layer has formed a good hard shell and combined with the mixing piles to create a composite foundation, dewatering and correction of inclination only serves to drain and consolidate the silt beneath the coarse sand layer, resulting in no compressive deformation to the sand layer. After completing the static pile construction, by locking the static piles, the load of the structure is directly transferred to the static piles. The top of the mixing piles is then cut, and the cut height is cleared according to calculations, with sand backfilled at the bottom of the cut pile's foundation platform to protect the mixing pile and prevent rapid overturning of the structure, ensuring safety and reliability. Correction of inclination work begins once all B-axis mixing piles have been cut and backfilled with sand.


    Building straightening achieved through adjusting pile head loads. This includes three parts: pile head load transfer, pile head load resistance treatment, and water jet sand washing treatment.
