Shengte Reinforcement Case: Reinforcement and Renovation Project of a Commercial Plaza in Jiangxi Province

Jiangxi Commercial Plaza Reinforcement and Renovation Project, located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, the original building has been in use for about six or seven years. The client, in response to the local real estate demands, is required to undergo comprehensive renovations. This project employs construction techniques such as rebar insertion, increased cross-sections, steel encasement with grouting, bonding steel, and reverse construction replacement, with the reverse construction replacement being a critical technique for the entire reinforcement project.

Due to functional changes, the need for additional floors and core tube reconstruction has arisen. The bearing capacity of the outwardly projecting structural part is no longer sufficient. Therefore, additional shear wall columns are required from the foundation to reinforce the outwardly projecting structure.
