Shengte Reinforcement - Concrete Replacement Project for Beam and Column in Zhongshan Community Complex

This project, located in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, was originally designed as a 33-story mixed-use building. After completion, testing revealed that the concrete in the walls and columns of the 16th floor and the beams and slabs of the 17th floor had excessive chloride ion content. Commissioned by the client, our company replaced the concrete in the components with excessive chloride ion content in the original structure, retaining the existing upper floor structure. The total area requiring replacement was 874.495 square meters (with a concrete volume of approximately 201.94 cubic meters), and the original concrete strength was C25 grade. Replacement for columns, beams, and slabs was carried out using column joints and beam/slab replacement, with the column joint replacement being a technical focus and challenge for this project. The project was completed from mid-March 2012 to the end of May 2012. Our patented technology, "A Steel Tray Support Force Transmission System," was successfully applied to the reinforcement and replacement of defects in the above comprehensive building projects.
