Pressure Sealant for Leak Sealing

Pressure Sealant refers to a method of sealing leaks in pipelines and tank interiors under pressure, which may occur due to corrosion, perforation, dripping, or human damage. It involves stopping leaks without stopping the flow or emptying the tank, during which the internal medium is splashing. Operations such as electric welding and electric sanding, which can produce sparks, are often used, as there is no concept of not using fire in the term "pressure sealant." However, during actual sealing, flammable and explosive media are often encountered, which must not produce any sparks. Therefore, domestically, the term "pressure sealant" has been commonly changed to "no fire pressure sealant" for clarity. Despite the preference for simplification to "pressure sealant," the term is now widely understood to mean "no fire pressure sealant." Since the pressure sealant industry lacks standardization, there are various names, with most people believing that pressure sealant is a type of injection sealing. In reality, injection sealing is just one technique among the pressure sealant technologies, as it is limited to straight pipes. For elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, and large tank roots, this method is ineffective.
