Characteristics of closed-end floor deck:

Closed-type floor deck combined with open-type steel deck can eliminate the need for fire-resistant coating on the deck bottom, completely replace the lower reinforcement bars, and reduce the thickness of the floor deck, saving concrete usage. The suspended system of the closed-type floor deck can also save on the installation of mechanical and electrical pipelines. Additionally, due to the aforementioned benefits, the processing speed can be significantly increased, and the construction period shortened. Therefore, using closed-type floor decks can not only reduce construction costs but also lower engineering management expenses.

The fire resistance limit of closed-type floor decks is generally not less than 2 hours.

Key features of closed mouth deck plate:

1: Meets the requirements for rapid construction of main steel structures, providing a stable working platform in a short period of time, and allows for the laying of corrugated steel plates on multiple floors with a sequential concrete slab casting process.

2: During use, the floor deck serves as the tensile reinforcement for the concrete floor slab, enhancing the floor's rigidity while also saving on the amount of steel and concrete required.

3: The embossed surface of the profiled plate creates a bonding force between the floor deck and concrete, integrating them into a single unit. With the addition of stiffeners, the floor deck system achieves high load-bearing capacity.

4: Under cantilever conditions, the deck slab serves solely as a formwork. The cantilever length can be determined based on the cross-sectional characteristics of the deck slab. To prevent cracking of the cantilever panel, negative reinforcement should be installed at the supports according to the design of the structural engineer.

Our roof deck panels have passed the fire resistance limit test by the National Fixed Fire Extinguishing System and Fire-Resistant Component Quality Testing Center. As composite roof deck panels, they do not require fire-resistant coating, thereby significantly reducing the construction cost.

6: After the shaped steel sheet is laid, it facilitates ceiling installation, pipeline layout, and ventilation ductwork.

7: Due to the connection of the roof deck to the main and secondary beams of the steel structure, it forms an integrated unit, thus offering excellent seismic performance.

Closed-cell deck is our company's newly introduced high-tech product, a more composite deck system that has been proven through experiments to have greater load-bearing and shear resistance compared to other open-cell deck systems. The special design of the closed rib shape ensures that the steel deck ribs are completely encased in concrete, similar to the rebar in cast-in-place slabs, thus maximizing the characteristics of both steel and concrete. It is successfully applied in the deck systems with reinforced steel and offers fire-resistant properties.
